An affordable twenty unit ‘road side’ motel located just two blocks from the Stanford University campus and is serviced by the free Marguerite Shuttle which will transport you to Stanford University, Stanford Hospital and Stanford Shopping Center.
Located next to California Avenue, Palo Alto’s “Avenue of the Arts”, you are within steps of over twenty restaurants & cafés and only three blocks from the CalTrain® station where a 45 minute ride will take you into the heart of San Francisco or San Jose.

Car
Using US-CA Highway 101:
Use the Oregon Expressway/Embarcadero Rd exit in Palo Alto. Follow the signs to the Oregon Expressway. Avoid getting onto Embarcadero Road. Stay on Oregon Expressway for 2.5 miles headed west. Turn right on El Camino Real heading north. Three blocks up El Camino you will see the Coronet Motel located on your right side of the street at the corner of Sherman Ave and El Camino Real.
Using US-CA Highway 280:
Use the Page Mill Road exit. Stay on Page Mill Road for 2 miles. Turn left on El Camino Real. Three blocks up El Camino you will see the Coronet Motel located on your right side of the street at the corner of Sherman Ave and El Camino Real.
Airport
From the San Francisco International Airport:
Take the Bay Area Rapid Transport (BART) Yellow-S train from the San Francisco Airport to the San Bruno CalTrain® station. This ride will cost about $2.50USD. At the Millbrae Station, exit the BART and follow the signs to the CalTrain southbound CalTrain platform. Be sure to purchase a ticket to Zone 3 (California Avenue CalTrain station) prior to boarding the train. This ride will cost around $6.00USD.

Train
Be sure that you are getting onto a train that will stop at the California Avenue CalTrain® station. At the California Avenue CalTrain station, exit the CalTrain. Follow the signs to California Avenue and head west on California Avenue. You will know that you are going in the right direction when you see Molly Stones Market on the right followed by many restaurants. PRO NOTE: This is a good market to use to purchase groceries.
Continue down California Avenue for three block until you reach El Camino Real. Turn left on to El Camino Real where the Citibank is located at the corner. The Coronet Motel is located next to the bank just south on El Camino Real.
Ride Share Apps
Uber® Lyft®
Uber and Lyft are two popular rideshare apps that have many drivers available in the Palo Alto area. By setting accounts with both services will ensure that you have maximum ride opportunities.
**Please be sure to download and setup an account with either Uber® or Lyft® prior to your arrival at the airport. You will be able to use the airport WIFI to order your rideshare as well as from the Coronet Motel WIFI during your stay.
Taxi
From the airports:
From the airports it is rather easy to find a taxi to deliver you to Palo Alto as the taxi cabs mostly wait at the airport for travelers.
Within Palo Alto and nearby cities:
Palo Alto and surrounding cities are located between San Jose and San Francisco airports which means that most of the cabs are at the airports waiting for international fares who did not download a ride share apps onto their smartphones prior to arrival. This means that when you request a taxi in Palo Alto it can take up to an hour to get service and a lot of time the taxi drivers cancel the pick-up for various reasons resulting in a second taxi request required. The taxi service is not always reliably available in Palo Alto due to the ride share market.

Bus/Shuttle
Marguerite:
The free Marguerite shuttle service is operated by Stanford University and normally services several areas of the campus as well as off-campus locations.
Public Bus:
The Valley Transit Authority (VTA) operates the public busses that run up and down El Camino Real.

Or you can call us at +1 (650) 326-1081 to make your reservations with a friendly desk clerks from the hours of 8:00AM to 10:00PM, Pacific Coast Time (-8:00 GMT).
Check-in time is 3:00PM the date of your arrival. The check-out time is 11:00AM the date of your departure.
If you wish your room to be available to you prior to the 3:00PM check-in time, then please consider renting the room one extra day before your actual arrival to ensure it is available prior to the 3:00PM check-in. Please note that if you have not reserved the room one day prior to check-in, then we will still make every effort to provide your room earlier than the 3:00PM check-in time; however we cannot make you any guarantees for an early check-in room availability.
Modifications and Cancellations: We accept modifications and cancellations to your existing reservation(s) up to forty-eight hours prior to check-in; that is by 3:00PM two days prior. If you wish to modify or cancel your existing reservation(s) prior to forty -eight hours prior to check-in, we will require you to pay for the first night of your existing reservation and any existing days will be canceled. If you wish to end your stay earlier than your existing reservation prior to a twenty-four hour notice of early check-out; that is by 11:00AM one day prior, we will require you to pay for the last day that is canceled within twenty-four hours of early check-out notice and any existing days will be canceled.
If you have made your online booking through Booking.com or Expedia then you will need to manage all of your changes to your existing reservations through that online booking provider. Please check your email for information from that provider on how to modify or cancel your existing reservations.
